Where quality and affordability meet.
Paying for Early Care and Education
The cost to access high-quality child care and early learning is often a barrier for families with young children. In some cases, it can cost as much as tuition at a public university!
Right Steps is committed to removing that barrier and providing the highest quality programs at an affordable price.
Thanks to our partnerships, we offer several ways for families to offset the cost of care to fulfill that commitment to the families we serve.
Options to Make Early Care and Education Affordable
CCDF Vouchers
All Right Steps centers accept CCDF vouchers!
The Child Care & Development Fund (CCDF) is a federal program that helps income-eligible families obtain child care so that they may work, attend training, or go to school.
The purpose of CCDF is to make quality child care more accessible to Indiana families.
The CCDF program is administered through the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration in the Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning.
On My Way Pre-K
Right Steps is an On My Way Pre-K provider!
On My Way Pre-K (OMWP) provides grants for 4-year-olds from income-qualifying families, so they may have access to high-quality pre-k programs the year before they begin kindergarten. OMWP is available statewide at Paths to QUALITY™ Level 3 & 4 early learning programs.
When applications are available, families are chosen on a first come-first served basis in the order in which applications are received. There are limited slots available in each county and applications will be accepted until all available slots have been filled.
Income-Based Weekly Rate
Our funding partners allow us to provide the highest quality care at an affordable rate!
For families that don’t qualify for CCDF vouchers or On My Way Pre-K grants, Right Steps works with local funders to provide an income-based weekly rate. Families qualify based on income and family size and can receive up to 40% off the base rate of our services!
To see if you qualify, simply begin the enrollment process. Once an opportunity opens for your child, our dedicated team will work with you to determine your weekly rate.
